Currency markets are behaving quite calmly, in the absence of significant fundamental indicators. FOMC members Bullard and Fisher will make their speeches. Stock indexes started the day in positive territory. S & P500 is in positive territory +0.33%, DJIA - +0.50%. The U.S. dollar index fell slightly to -0.12%. This led to the recovery of EUR/USD pair to the 1.3800 figure after a daytime consolidation under the level. GBP/USD pair is trading sideways just below the 65th figure, perhaps bears planned a breakdown of 1.6480 support.
More or less jerky movements are observed for the pair USD/CAD. The Canadian dollar strengthened today after the positive data on consumer prices and retail sales. The pair fell to 1.1190 support, but bulls are trying to regain the position. Bidding is currently underway just above the 1.1200 figure.
