CFTC: EUR longs up, JPY shorts down
Here are the essentials of the latest Commitments of Traders (COT) report, released on March 21 by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) for a week ended on March 18.
According to the report, large speculators increased their net long EUR positions from 36K on March 11 to 53K on March 18. This is the highest level of EUR positions since October 29, 2013 when they stood at 71K contracts. The biggest mover of the week was the JPY. Net short contracts fell from 99K on Macrh 11 to 61K on March 18.
