CFTC: USD net longs increased
Here are the essentials of the latest Commitments of Traders (COT) report, released on April 4 by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) for a week ended on April 1.
According to the report, net long USD positions showed that large speculators raised their overall USD bullish bets last week for the first time in 8 weeks. Net USD longs increased from $1.24 billion on March 25 to $3.26 billion on April 1.
EUR net long contracts fell last week for a second straight week to 33K net long contracts after rising to a 5-month high of 53K net long contracts on March 18.
