USD: economic forecasts of FOMC members
The FOMC also published forecasts for GDP, unemployment and PCE inflation of its members.
- The GDP estimates for 2014 were lowered from 2.1-2.3% in June to 2.0-2.2%. American GDP estimates for 2015 were also revised down from 3.0%-3.2% in June to 2.6%-3%. GDP estimates for 2016 were lowered, but there’s an increase for 2017.
- Estimates of unemployment rate are slightly lower or unchanged.
- Estimates of PCE inflation show it’s expected to stay below 2%.
