The Fed speakers this week
Dallas FRB President Richard Fisher, who doesn’t vote on policy this year, said investors shouldn’t overreact to the central bank’s plan to slow bond purchases. According to Fisher, the Fed is talking of ‘dialing back’ QE and not of ‘exit’.
Minneapolis Fed President Narayana Kocherlakota said that the Fed must emphasize that policy will remain accommodative “for a considerable time” after the end of QE.

According to Bloomberg survey, 44% of economists think that the Fed will cut its monthly bond purchases to $65 billion at its Sept. 17-18 policy meeting.
