GBP rose on the Bank of England’s minutes

The Bank of England released minutes of its November meeting:

-          The minutes are more hawkish than the market expected.

-          Members of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) voted 7-2 to leave the benchmark rate unchanged as in the previous month. 2 members (Weale and McCafferty) still propose to raise rates by 25 bps.

-          The MPC still admits negative risks to the economic growth.

GBP/USD rose to 1.5670.
