CFTC: USD longs rise again

FXBAZOOKA.com  -  According to the latest CFTC report, released on Nov. 21, large traders and speculators raised their USD bullish bets to a new 6-year high.

The value of net USD longs increased from $43.99 billion to $46.45 billion in the week ended Nov. 18. This was the 7th straight week that net longs in the dollar have totaled at least $40 billion.  

Each of the individual tracked currencies has a net bearish position versus USD for the 7th week. During the past week large speculators increased net bearish bets on EUR, GBP, JPY and NZD, but decreased net bearish bets on CHF, AUD and CAD.
