Japan stocks go down at close of trade
On Monday, Japanese shares dipped at the close, as losses in the glass, gas&water, and shipbuilding sectors led shares down.
The Nikkei 225 went down at the close in Tokyo.
As for the best performers of the trading session on the Nikkei 225, we should mention Nitto Denko with its 8.98% surge at 6578.0. At the same time, Kirin Holdings Co. Ltd managed to gain up to 8.61%, trading at 1728.5. NTT Docomo demonstrated a 4.87% surge at 2723.5.
Nippon Electric Glass appeared to be the worst performer in the index, with its 16.75% descend at 487.0. Meanwhile, Ricoh lost 178.0 points or 15.70%, trading at 956.0, while Tokyo Gas Co. Ltd edged down 9.92% being worth 437.0.
Dropping shares outnumbered surging ones on the Tokyo Stock Exchange by 1791, while 28 stood intact.
Shares of Nippon Electric Glass dropped to 52-week minimums, demonstrating a 16.75% tumble. Additionally, shares of Ricoh Co. reached their 3-year minimums with a 15.7% drop, trading at 956.0. Finally, shares of Tokyo Gas Co. also descended to their 3-year lows, trading at 437.0, a 9,92% loss.
