American stock futures dip with Fed meeting

On Tuesday, American stock futures dipped, thus indicating that Wall Street is going to face a fourth straight loss because traders stood on the sidelines over another Fed’s monetary policy gathering as well as the approaching British vote on membership in the EU.

The Dow Jones futures lost up to 48 points, trading at 17,591. As for the S&P 500 futures, they lacked 6.95 points at 2,063.00. As for Nasdaq-100 futures, they dropped 16.75 points, trading at 4,402.00.

The moves arose right after on Monday, the S&P 500 as well as the Dow Jones Industrial Average each closed at their lowest value since May 24. The S&P 500 slumped 0.8% at 2,079.06, while the Dow went down 0.7%, being worth 17,732.48. The Nasdaq Composite Index sank 0.9%, hitting 4,848.44, the lowest close since May 23.

Market participants are still demonstrating signs of anxiousness regarding the Fed’s two-day gathering, starting on Tuesday, and also regarding the outcome of the so-called Brexit referendum in Great Britain.
