CFTC: USD longs keep rising
Here are the essentials of the latest Commitments of Traders (COT) report, released on Jan. 24 by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) for a week ended on Jan. 21.
According to the report, large speculators increased their net long USD positions from $22.7 billion on Jan. 14 to $25.9 billion on Jan. 21. USD longs keep on rising for a third consecutive week. The US dollar aggregate positions on Jan. 21 marked the highest level since July 23 when the net US dollar bullish bets equaled $28.7 billion.
